You can make a fun afternoon out of decorating heart boxes with your little ones. Pick up the boxes themselves at your local craft supply store, and your favorite sparkly adornments too! Stickers, glitter glue, sequins, construction paper, you name it! This easy craft is a perfect opportunity to flex your creative muscles and get glittery. Once you have your materials, you can take decorating to the next level and have fun with your little ones crafting.
2. DIY Valentine's Day Cards
Store-bought Valentine’s cards are cute as they can be, but you can also make your own! If you have any leftover supplies from decorating heart boxes, they can be used for cute and personalized cards. Use your stash of construction paper and add in your own drawings, decorations, and sweet messages for the shining stars in your life. We love to use stickers, sequins, gems, and everything that shines!
3. Sweets Jars
Why not prep some sweet treats for the sweetest day of the year? You can get mini jars at your nearest dollar store and stuff them to your heart’s content with candy hearts, cinnamon hearts, pink and white gummies, and more. For extra sparkle, you can decorate the lid with glitter glue and attach a sweet note. These little surprise jars make great party favors, lunch box sweeteners, or Valentine’s Day gifts!
4. Paper Crowns
You can take Valentine’s day cards to the next level with these easy printable heart crowns. Our DIY-craft activity gives your little ones the chance to highlight their favorite things about themselves and their besties.
