Spring is right around the corner, and the Glitter Girls can’t wait to pull on their rain boots and celebrate warm weather, growing flowers, and Easter! It’s time to flex those crafting muscles out and get your creative juices flowing. Keep reading for more indoor spring activities for kids.
1. Easter Scavenger Hunt
You’re probably familiar with a classic Easter egg quest around the house or backyard, but there are lots of ways to take a scavenger hunt to the next level! You can make the final prize an Easter prize pack and leave clues that lead to each other. In fact, your Glitter Girls and other toys could be holding little riddles that lead to the next hint! Who says an Easter Egg hunt has to be simple?!
2. Homemade bunny ears
Everybody loves an occasion to dress up, and Easter is no exception! There are tons of cute costume accessories to be found around the springtime at your local craft stores, but why not celebrate creativity this year and make your own bunny ears?! All it takes is a headband and some construction paper! You can cut out bunny ears in the color that you like, and decorate them with glitter glue, gems, markers, and anything your heart desires. It’s one of our favorite activities for expressing ourselves the Easter way!
3. Easter Egg Painting
You’re probably not new to egg decorating, but have you ever bedazzled an Easter egg? How about tattooing one?! We’ve got creative ideas to make the most gorgeous eggs around. From stick-on rhinestones to washi tape and food dye, there’s no end to the ways you can jazz up an Easter egg decoration session. 4. Spoon and Egg Races
Now that you have beautifully decorated eggs, it’s time to put them to good use with a classic spoon and egg race! Whether through the house or around the backyard, use your imagination to create an obstacle course worthy of the Easter bunny. Get out your stopwatches, balance your jazzed up eggs on spoons, and race away!
