The Glitter Girls have a sweet tooth all year round, and Easter is the perfect time to indulge in some yummy desserts! We’re all for simple, no-bake recipes that are easy for little hands – and mouths. These yummy treats don’t need an oven, or even a stove!

Homemade Peanut Butter Cups

You won’t believe how easy it is to make these at home!

  • Mix ½ c. smooth peanut butter with ¼ c. confectioners’ sugar and 2 tbsp melted butter and set aside.
  • Then, you can melt 2c. of your favorite chocolate chips with another ½ c. of peanut butter in the microwave and add in a pinch of salt for good measure. We suggest starting with 30 seconds in the microwave, give your melted chocolate a stir, and then another 10 seconds.
  • Spoon your peanut butter mixture, followed by the melted chocolate, into lined muffin tins and pop them into the freezer for 2 hours or until set. Easy as pie – chocolate peanut butter pie!

Cake Pops

Cake on a stick?! What’s not to like? Cicely loves this recipe, and she’ll walk you through it. With only a few ingredients and 6 simple steps, homemade cake pops are just around the corner! Check out our blog for the instructions.

Rice Krispies Surprise Treats

These sweet cereal bars are a Glitter Girls favorite! In just a few minutes, you’ll have a pan of shareable treats perfect for every party.

  • To get started, melt ¼ c. of butter with 5 cups of marshmallows in the microwave.
  • When your mixture is hot and melted, stir in 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal.
  • Now comes the fun part! What do you like to mix in? Mini chocolate chips? Fruity cereal? Crushed pretzels? Add in your razzle dazzle of choice and press the mixture into a baking dish.
  • Let the squares set at room temperature before cutting into them and enjoying!

Frozen Banana Pops

These frosty popsicles are as easy as a banana split! Simply cut bananas and other fruits into bite-size pieces and dip them in melted chocolate before sticking them on skewers and letting them chill in the freezer. You can spruce them up with sprinkles, coconut flakes, or chopped nuts to go on the melted chocolate. Talk about yummy

Funfetti Mix

Around the Christmas season, the Glitter Girls can’t get enough of this homemade funfetti popcorn. But who says this treat is only for the holidays? We’ll take any excuse to eat this yummy popcorn mix. Lacy loves to mix in Mini Eggs, Marshmallow Peeps, or other Easter treats! She’s our resident sweet tooth, and she says the more colorful the better!
